And then I realized that atoms are actually promiscuous as hell and a molecule is actually just one giant atom-orgy. Carbon makes four bonds. Then there’s that kinky nitrogen who is perfectly okay making a triple-bond when given the chance. And who hasn’t been with hydrogen? Proton transfers are some of the fastest reactions and seem to occur all over the place in organic chemistry so really it’s like that one person that everyone has dated in highschool.
